On 14 December, the editors of the magazine “Kosovo 2.0”, a publication dedicated to the (lack of) political culture on the Balkans, planned a public discussion with a subsequent party in Priština, the capital of Kosovo. The event should take place in the context of the recently released winter-issue of the journal. However, before the evening could start out with a reading of the authors of the new magazine, a crowd of 20 men, some of them with covered faces, burst into the venue, destroyed the stage and beat up one member of the staff of the magazine.
Von Tobias Strahl. Die Herausgeber des Magazins „Kosovo 2.0“, einer Zeitschrift, die der politischen (Un-) Kultur der Balkanstaaten gewidmet ist, planten für den 14. Dezember in Prishtina, der Hauptstadt Kosovos, eine öffentliche Diskussion mit anschließender Feier zur neuen Ausgabe des Journals. Doch noch bevor der Abend mit einer Lesung der Autoren des neuen Heftes in seine erste Runde gehen konnte, stürmten etwa 20 zum Teil vermummte Männer die Veranstaltung, zerstörten die Bühne und schlugen einen Mitarbeiter des Magazins krankenhausreif.
